Aylburton Carnival
Every year, the Aylburton Village Club arranges a carnival on the playing fields adjacent to the village hall to raise funds for maintaining both the hall and the playing field. The carnival procession consists of floats entered by local schools and clubs and is usually headed by a marching band. In addition to the procession, the carnival boasts traditional fete fun with attractions such as stalls, a bouncy castle, a prize draw and a beer tent. In addition, some years have seen 6-a-side football matches and tug-of-war contests between local teams.
